Beech Retreat is a ground-floor apartment sleeping two, set in the quiet residential hills just above Ambleside. Everything needed for a stay is here: bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included, and the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking with a gas hob, electric oven, microwave combi and washing machine. Both the living room and bedroom have smart TVs, the shower room has a heated towel rail, and the gas fire means the living space stays warm through cooler months.

The location works well for couples wanting access to fell walking—routes into the fells begin from the property. Ambleside itself is a gentle walk downhill along the River Rothay, bringing you to independent shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants. Lake Windermere lies close by for sailing and other water activities. There is parking for one car on site, and a shared garden with sitting-out furniture. Note that there are 4 steps within the grounds. The property does not accommodate children or pets, and smoking is not permitted anywhere on the grounds.
