A B&B on Well Close Terrace in Whitby with en-suite family rooms, on-site parking and easy walking distance to the abbey and town.
About Joben
Step into a room at Joben and you'll find an en-suite bathroom, drinks laid on, and space enough for families to settle in comfortably. It's the kind of straightforward, well-kept set-up that makes a short stay easy, with free WiFi throughout and a 24 hour reception on hand whatever time you arrive.
Breakfast is included to start the day properly, and there's outdoor seating for those who'd rather sit outside with a coffee than stay indoors. On-site parking is a genuine plus in a town like Whitby, where finding a space can otherwise eat into your holiday. Pets are welcome too, so the whole family can travel together.
Joben sits on Well Close Terrace, putting Whitby Abbey and the town's other attractions within easy reach on foot. The surrounding area suits walkers and cyclists, with golf and fishing nearby for those after something more active, plus a good spread of pubs, restaurants and other eateries close by for evenings out.
What guests say
Really warm welcome from Jill, who runs this guest house. She is so helpful in suggesting places to go and things to do. Probably the best full English breakfast we've had. Great place, wonderful town.

Joben is a a little gem, a lovely place to stay in Whitby. It’s central too, close to the sea front and all the shops, bars , cafes & restaurant’s. It’s spotlessly clean, and the breakfast is lovely too. We’d definitely stay there again,
