About Oaktree Lodge
Step into one of Oaktree Lodge's eight rooms and you get an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning and free WiFi as standard, with drinks available to order straight to the room. It's a compact hotel, which keeps things simple and personal rather than sprawling, and each room is finished in a modern style suited to a short coastal stay.
Downstairs there's a bar and breakfast service, plus a garden for stepping outside, and practical extras including a lift, porter and concierge services, luggage storage and laundry. The hotel also has meeting rooms and hosts weddings, making it as suited to events as to overnight stays, and free on-site parking makes arriving by car straightforward.
Oaktree Lodge sits on the Esplanade in Whitley Bay, with the beach within easy reach and pubs, bars and restaurants nearby for evenings out. Walking and cycling routes lead off from the area, and golf and fishing are both close by for guests wanting to fill the day before returning to the coast.
