What visitors say
Wow what a site. They have thought of everything. This place is immaculate and right by the river (as the name suggests) and a short walk to Wick. Not a big site so not noisy. The facilities are fabulous. Indoor lounge type area with a coffee machine and outside seating. Washing up area and a laundry room which also has a fridge and freezer and a charging cupboard. There is a little shop on site which is good. The people were really friendly. Would stay again.

This campsite is a total gem and we would highly recommend. If you are looking for a campsite whilst traveling Scotland or doing the NC500 then this is the place to book to rest and recuperate at. The location is wonderful and the site very well laid out. The facilities are second to none, very clear, modern and offer space and privacy. The proximity to Inverness (via walking down the river path) is excellent. The pitch size is great, the well stocked shop very good, and general feel of the place makes you feel welcome. Definitely would come back here. Thank you to all those that run such a great place.

What an amazing campsite. Such a friendly welcome with lots of local information available. Facilities block seemed new and was excellent. Easy to use laundry available as a well as fridge/freezer/microwave and charging points. Reception block had a seating area with coffee machine for use as well as an outside seating area. I loved the fact this is a community campsite, with profits being put back into the campsite and local community

Such a lovely modern site with brilliant facilities. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The site is perfectly located with just a short stroll in to Wick. Although we didn't use it, the 23 hour lounge is such a good idea. Thanks for a brilliant stay. Wish we could have stayed longer.
