Trundling along the North Coast 500 and fancy a handsome spot to pause? The Croft Certificated Location – open to Caravan and Motorhome Club members only – offers sea views over the Moray Firth, friendly owners and a pub serving food within half an hour's walk. The small, peaceful site sits just two miles off the NC500 route, with large level hardstanding pitches (six by ten metres, plus a grassy awning area) and metered electric hook-ups.

Being on the east coast means stunning scenery and fewer midges than the west. Dolphins, seals and deer are regularly spotted from your pitch; with luck, you might glimpse orcas or the Northern Lights in winter. You'll need to be self-contained – there are no showers or toilets – but the utility area covers fresh water, waste disposal and recycling. The John o'Groats Trail runs right past the site, ideal for dog walks, while a short drive takes you to a pebble beach for kayaking or simply soaking up the wild Highland coastline.
