The room was clean, practical and bed comfortable but it wasn’t worth £168. It’s does need updating, an office desk isn’t what we expected when you can go to Ikea and get some really nice furniture cheap to make the room look more modern. It is ok just one night.

If you are looking to stay in a clean room close to the station choose this. It has nothing but a room , no facilities , no one physically avaialb6le to help you , no place to leave your luggage if you reach early, and none of the things you would normally find in a hotel. Inside the room the bed and the floor was clean but the shower head was so dirty that the water was just trickling thru. The view from the room is a broken chair and the blinds barely cover the window , so u are up when the sunlight hits the room. There is only one dull light in the room. The mattress and pillows are also not comfortable. Thru the night u can hear creaks as it is not soundproof The staff who answers the phone is not courteous or helpful with curt replies . You are Sent a code at 3 pm to open the front door and there are no instructions to let u know this. Quite a few were knocking on the door not realising this Summary..stay there if your needs are a room next to the station from 3 pm to 10 am

It did the bare minimum of having a bed and bathroom and was close to the train station, but there were a lot of teething issues. Bad pillows, bad ventilation, bad bathrooms, dirty shower heads, no air conditioning, could feel the coils under the bed, and staff who were only accessible via the phone weren’t friendly at all.

Rooms decent size, great location. Take earbuds if you plan on sleeping. Squeakiest floorboards from the rooms above kept us awake morning and night, constant beeping from the hallway which went on for the duration of our stay, messaged the owner 4/5 times no response, showers hot water only lasts a matter of minutes so be strategic about families showering, off site health club is about a 6 minute drive and is basically a little shack with a swimming pool but they had a power cut so we couldn’t go in and they were closed the following day (daughter was gutted) we only booked this for the swimming pool. Very poor - no compensation etc offered so be mindful before booking.
