The palace rooms are wonderful as is the outside of the palace. St George's Chapel closes at 04.00 PM so if you arrive in the afternoon you can start visiting the chapel which is right at the entrance then visit the castle

An absolutely breathtaking and sacred place. Since it’s located right inside Windsor Castle, it’s a perfect spot to visit along with the tour. The Gothic architecture and the stained glass windows are incredibly beautiful and magnificent. It is also deeply moving to see the final resting places of Queen Elizabeth II and Royal Family members. The atmosphere inside is very calm and peaceful. Don't miss this place when you visit Windsor!

Highlight of Windsor castle. As much history as St Paul’s and Westminster. Just as beautiful as any church or cathedral you have ever seen.

It was lovely to visit this during the school holiday. It was busy on entry but it was organised and didn't take too long to get inside. Make sure you have comfortable shoes on there is a lot of walking within the chapel and Windsor to do. Get a ticket before you go and remember to check what time you can enter because if you go too early they won't let you in.
