About The Rutlands B&B
The Rutlands B&B occupies a Victorian home on St Leonards Road in Windsor, a period property whose character has been kept intact while the rooms inside have been made comfortable for modern stays. It's an adults-only setup, which lends itself to a quieter atmosphere than you'd find at larger hotels nearby.
Rooms are cosy rather than spacious, with a mix of en-suite and shared bathroom options, and each comes with drinks available in room. Breakfast is included each morning, and free WiFi runs throughout the building. Reception is staffed around the clock, useful for guests arriving at odd hours or coming back late from an evening out.
The surrounding area offers a pub or bar, restaurants and other eateries within easy reach, along with entertainment options, a golf course and fishing nearby for those wanting to fill their days beyond the town's usual sights. It makes a straightforward base for exploring Windsor without the scale or formality of a larger hotel.

The Rutlands is by far one of the best B&B we’ve stayed in. As we were leaving early we didn’t get to enjoy the delicious breakfast but the manager was so accommodating. He gave us a box of cereal and some milk to enjoy. He couldn’t be more friendly. Very convenient for the town itself and a short walk to the castle. Room was clean and tidy. Would thoroughly recommend. Thank you

Very disappointed. Firstly, I don’t know where the four and a half stars come from, it’s certainly not from the AA or any other formal body as there was no plaque on display. We arrived after 5pm after a long day travelling. The gentleman who ‘welcomed’ us didn’t even bother to introduce himself. He said he was surprised to see two of us as the booking was for one adult only. But I had booked a double room and there was never any mention of single occupancy. So folks, double check your booking as we had to pay an additional £60 immediately on top of the £220 we had already paid. Then the man (I still don’t know his name) wanted to know what we wanted for breakfast the next morning - we were still barely over the door. Who knows what they want for breakfast the day before? We were then shown to our room which was up a very steep staircase and the room itself was quite tired and in need to some redecoration. The last breakfast of the day was served at 8.30am and it was absolutely awful. It was a standard sausage, bacon, egg breakfast that looked like it had been cooked the night before, it was so dry. The only good thing about this b&b is the large, fluffy white towels they provide and the central location. I would not recommend it.

Beautiful little B&B in Windsor… spotlessly clean and lovely owners. Attention to detail was fabulous. I especially loved the Royal Albert bone China tea cups and saucers in the room and also in the breakfast room. Breakfast was superb, as was our room. Can’t wait to visit Windsor again and to book in at The Rutland.

Stayed here for a night recently. The staff can't do enough to help you, including giving you some local information as well as recommendations, they were great guys. If you're driving here I'd book a parking space in advance. It's first come first serve and if you miss out you'll have some trouble finding a space near by. I only rated 4 stars for 2 reasons, which are quite critical really. They could do with a proper duvet on the bed, rather than just a sheet and blanket. As you have no thermostat in the room, it can get a bit chilly if the heating takes to long to come on for your liking. Also, the fried breakfast was nice, but the hash brown was undercooked. Everything else good though! Other than that the place was very cosy, comfortable, and clean!!! Good location, with a 10 minute walk to Windsor shopping, bars etc........ would recommend staying here.
