What visitors say
Very nice museum, stacked full of aviation themed displays. Two large aircraft outside, one you can actually get inside to explore. The on site volunteers were very polite, friendly and full of knowledge about the displays. There are toilets on site. The entry fee to the museum is very reasonable considering the amount of items to look at. The parking outside is free if you are going into the museum. Just go into the museum and ask for the parking instructions, they will give you a sheet of instructions to use back at the pay and display machine in the carpark which will issue you a free ticket to put on your car. If your not going into the museum, you will need to pay for parking.

Fantastic experience for everyone who likes aviation! The volunteers are all enthusiastic, knowledgeable and helpful. There is a large array of planes and some helicopters along with multiple small scale models along side them. You can go inside one of the planes (pictures attached) and sit in a helicopter. It's not a big museum which makes it ideal for if you want to spend an hour or two while touring Reading (especially because the tickets are cheap!). There is also an activity for children too (teddy bear trail).

Nice museum with two big planes outside (one you can enter) and couple of smaller ones inside. Also loads of parts, models, photos and other information. A couple of interactive models. Some vintage toys for toddlers are a lovely touch. Staff is very friendly, very enthusiastic about it. Price is great especially given the advantage that you get free parking meaning a chance to explore Dinton Pastures after the museum visit, really greatfull for this!
