About Lilling Green Farm
Tucked into the Howardian Hills on a friendly smallholding with sheep, chickens and horses, Lilling Green Farm is a tiny adults-only retreat that sits directly on the Centenary Way long-distance trail. The handful of fully-serviced hardstanding pitches – each with electric, water and drainage hook-ups – enjoy peaceful farmland views, and a network of footpaths fans out from the site for walks through gorgeous North Yorkshire countryside. Sheriff Hutton village, with its 600-year-old castle ruins and medieval church, is half an hour on foot; Strensall (10 minutes by car) offers supermarkets, a butcher and pubs.
Dogs are welcome year-round, and there's good access for wheelchair users. York's cultural riches lie 20 minutes away, while east-coast beaches are an hour's drive. It's a well-kept, no-frills base that walkers especially will love – though some might find the hard surfacing and compact layout a touch utilitarian for extended stays.

Staying at Lilling Hall Farm was a last minute one night stay, but we will be absolutely booking to stay for longer! We were welcomed with a friendly smile and a cup of tea, guided to our pitch and shown the facilities. The toilet and shower were spotless and the pitch is in a lovely location with horses in the field next to it. It was a beautiful and peaceful stay and was a much needed rest after a busy Easter Break. For anyone looking to stay here we couldn't recommend this place enough!

Great little site in a beautiful setting. Clean and peaceful and both Gary and Lynn can't do enough to make sure your stay is pleasant and enjoyable. Located within easy reach of York, Malton, Pickering and a number of pubs and eateries. Castle Howard and the stunning Howardian Hills are also a stone's throw away. The site facilities are spotless and very private. We'll be back for sure.

Came for one night on Saturday to get away for peace and quiet (away from the kids haha) and couldn't of asked for more, beautiful surroundings, shower and toilet very clean. the hosts gary and Lynn were very friendly. we will definitely be visiting again this time for more than one night

This is a really lovely quiet site 45 mins bus ride to York, located on a race horse Stud farm. The shower and toilet are immaculate, the owners, Lynne and Garry are wonderful people friendly and welcoming. There are only around 10 pitches, so book well in advance. Ideal for camping, caravan and of course Camper vans.
