What visitors say
Weekend away for my birthday, somewhere to relax and switch off. Really impressed with this location ...we stayed in the big tent as I would call it and it was fantastic. It was spacious, clean and had everything you needed. On site there are toilets and shower rooms which are clean and really well maintained. The location of the camping is ideal for easy commute to York and only 15 minutes away is a great retail park with everything you need. Highly recommend for great vale, comfort and location

Stunning little glamping pots with bus stop outside camp (be in the centre of York in 9 minutes! only £3), perfect for those visiting York for a getaway and aviod those £30 - £45 a day parking charges too. The shoeer blocks where clean, hot showers with good speed on them too. BBQ, fridges, freezer, hair dryer, microwave in site too. Logs/bits for fire making available also. Dogs also allowed, perfect walking site also for adventures if you wish to explore. Recommend!

Stayed in Robin pod for one night. The pod was clean and smelt good. Bbq right outside and table and chairs were great for morning coffee. Bad points - The bed dipped in the middle and felt broken or collapsed underneath. No WiFi signal in the pod at ALL and doors and deck looks tired and needs a coat of paint and updating. Toilets are in the main caravan area and not next to the accommodation. OK but not really worth the price to be honest and quite far from York City centre. Lady who took our booking didn't really sound that interested and kinda off which is weird for a holiday company and also didn't thank us for a booking just send would email details. A smile and some positivity would of been nice There is a large Tesco extra 5 mins which is great tho.

Thank you so much, Tim! My aunty and I had a wonderful stay and will surely be back again next time we're in the area. Our room was brilliantly set up with big and comfy beds, a little bathroom and shower, and a handy kitchen that included sink/hotplates/fridge+freezer. Simple but clever and generous is how I would describe it - just what a getaway should be! Tim was lovely for a chat, local recommendations, and open to feedback. He's a hard worker and the results are obvious.
