Red Oaks

Red Oaks is a single-storey detached property where everything sits on one level—no stairs to negotiate. Two bedrooms sleep up to four: one with a 4ft 6in double, the other a 4ft double. The bathroom has a bath with shower over. The kitchen is equipped for real cooking, with an electric cooker, microwave, washing machine and fridge. French doors from the living and dining space open onto a patio with garden furniture.

The bungalow stands on the edge of York with on-site parking for two cars. Monks Cross shopping centre is within walking distance; the city centre takes ten minutes by car. Bus links run regularly into York, and a park-and-ride facility is two minutes away. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and heating are included. The property is non-smoking throughout.

York itself draws visitors for the Minster, National Railway Museum, Jorvik and the medieval street layout. River trips, theatres, golf courses and cycle routes are all available. The North Yorkshire Moors lie under an hour away, as do the east coast towns of Scarborough and Filey.
