Lovely caravan park for a long weekend. Beautiful setting with its own lake where you can fish close to your caravan. There are some good sized carp I caught a couple of 10lb commons. Theres some big grass carp as well unfortunately they were spawning and it was red hot so not feeding that much. The village is lovely but quiet, it has a nice pub with beer garden and a costcutter for essentials both about 10 - 15 mins walk. Well worth a visit.

Yesterday I had an excellent day here fishing. It was peaceful - a delight to sit by the natural lake in a secluded swim watching the wildlife and to make it even better I caught fish! I only fished the margins and caught 4 bream to 2.5lbs and 4 roach to 1.7lbs. Then I switched to luncheon meat and caught 4 carp to 12.3lbs and 2 small perch. The owners were very friendly and helpful and I thank them for making my day so memorable. Highly Recommended.

Just returned from 3 wonderful days at this campsite and thoroughly enjoyed it. Fishing was excellent and the site was immaculately maintained. Toilet block and showers were spotless as was the site as a whole. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Very peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing break and some great fishing. Ian and Ol.
