Wheldrake is a quiet village within reach of York's centre, where daily buses run into the city. The East Yorkshire coast and the Yorkshire Wolds are a short drive away. Locally, the Wheldrake Ings Nature Reserve lies nearby, and a shop, pub, restaurant and Italian café are all within walking distance.
Lilac Studio is a detached bungalow offering two double bedrooms and one bathroom, sleeping up to four guests. The ground floor has a living and dining room with a TV, and a kitchen with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine. Outside, there is a private hot tub for four and parking for two cars on site. Bed linen, towels, wifi and electricity are included in your stay.
The property suits families and couples. No smoking is permitted. You can check in after 15:00 and must depart by 10:00.

Wouldn't bother, check yourself into the local kennel, you'd be a lot comfier and it'd be cleaner, owner and caretaker speaks to you like a dog anyway if you question the cleaniess.

We arrived Friday the 14th, as soon as I saw the cottage I thought my god. It’s been built for hobbits. The garden area is over grown, we had no light to go into hot tub on a night. When we finally tried hot tub Saturday it was half full and filthy, so we didn’t bother and no way could you fit 4 in. I’ve looked at photos from 4 years ago and let me tell you it’s not the same. The tv is from the 90s, the fire didn’t work, the shower didn’t work. The toilet door didn’t shut, there was only room to sit 3. The whole place needs an upgrade. For over £300 for a weekend we feel gutted. It was my brother in laws birthday . Any how look at my photos especially the last one which was in the guest book

Fantastic place, I really love this vacation home! Especially it’s hot tub. It's close to nature, with plenty of nearby attractions. The friendly neighbors make it even better. It's a perfect place for me to enjoy the beauty of nature and the warmth of the community.
