Aura Retreat is a contemporary apartment in a recently built block just outside York's city centre, within walking distance of Layerthorpe and the Foss Islands shopping area. The whole property is yours for the duration of your stay, with parking for two cars on site.
Everything is on the first floor: a bright open-plan living and dining room with a sofa bed (double), comfortable armchairs and a smart TV; a kitchen fitted with electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and washer-dryer; a bedroom with a king-size bed and mirrored wardrobe; and a shower room with walk-in shower and heated towel rail. Bi-fold doors open from the living room onto a balcony. The apartment is designed to maximise natural light throughout. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included, along with ironing and hair-drying facilities. No smoking inside.
It suits visitors wanting straightforward modern comfort within reach of York's historic centre on foot. The building and its finishes are new, and there is a supermarket a short walk away for supplies.
