What visitors say
My mum and I did the Alice in Wonderland themed room, it was amazing! We didn’t manage to escape but there were so many different puzzles! In the past I’ve done rooms elsewhere that can feel a bit samey in terms of the puzzles but these were so different, would really recommend and can’t wait to try the others. The gentleman who welcomed us was so lovely too and really took the time to explain how the room worked after our session. Thank you!

We visited and did the Ministry Wizards. There were 4 of , 2 who had never done an escape room before. We weren't able to escape but had so much fun. The woker was very friendly and helpful. Liked that the TV in the room had a clock showing how much time we had left and was also used to give us clues. I would definitely recommend if visiting York 😊

We did the Alice in Wonderland room and it was fantastic! Beautifully designed, great puzzles that all made sense (if you’ve done other escape rooms, you know that’s not always the case) and a decent level of difficulty. The game host was super friendly and it was ultimately a brilliant experience. We have now done over 30 escape rooms and this one comes in right at the top of the list. We will definitely visit again and try a different room next time we come back to York.

We escaped! Challenging but accessible and we really enjoyed the 'twist'. Perfect for families. It was the best laid out and thoughtful escape room experience we've done. I highly recommend it. Thanks GR8escape York!
