Ousebank House stands on the western edge of York's city centre, close enough to the River Ouse that riverside walks are on your doorstep. The townhouse spreads across two floors and sleeps four: upstairs are two bedrooms (one with a 6ft super king bed, one with twin singles) and a bathroom with shower over the bath and heated towel rail; downstairs, a kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and freezer opens onto a living room with corner sofa and smart TV. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included, and you get private parking for one car.

At the back is a patio garden furnished and ready to use. The kitchen is equipped for cooking proper meals, though the surrounding streets hold plenty of restaurants if you'd rather not. Families with very young children will find a travel cot and highchair available. The whole property is yours alone, and smoking is not permitted inside.
