The Loft at St. Johns

The Loft at St Johns is a three-bedroom apartment on the second floor of a newly built block near York's ancient city walls. You enter into a spacious hallway that opens onto the heart of the property: a large open-plan living area filled with natural light from a picture window and French doors. Those doors lead to a small balcony where you can see York Minster's spires—good for morning coffee or evening drinks.

The kitchen runs into the living space with a central island and breakfast bar, equipped for proper cooking with an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and wine cooler. A dining table seats seven comfortably. The sleeping arrangements spread across three rooms: a bedroom with a kingsize bed and a single, a second with a zip-and-link super kingsize (or twin singles on request), and a third with two singles. One bedroom has an ensuite shower; there's a family bathroom with a bath and shower elsewhere. A utility room houses the washer-dryer. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—are included, and you have a parking space in the private car park on site, plus access to bike storage and an electric car charging point. No smoking inside.

Walking distance puts you near the city walls and the centre itself. Arrive after 4pm, depart by 10am.
