A travel cot is available if needed. The building has a public car park opposite (charged separately). No smoking throughout the property.

Stayed here with 2 other people for 2 nights. Place was very nice, with a fully functional kitchen, washer and drier and lots of space. Beds were comfortable and the place was clean! Very close to central York. Would recommend!

Comfortable and clean apartments in a very good location for the City Centre, the railway station (and the National Railway Museum) and other local services such as food shops and eateries/takeaways. We booked three apartments for an extended family and it worked well. Thank you.

We stayed in one of the lower ground apartments for one night in October. Unfortunately, the smell of drains throughout the apartment was horrendous and made the stay really unpleasant — especially disappointing given the price. I raised it with the property afterwards but was told they couldn’t offer anything as I hadn’t called during the stay. For a one-night visit with a young child, that just wasn’t realistic, and the smell was clearly a longer-term drainage problem rather than something fixable on the spot. A real shame, as the location is good, but I wouldn’t stay again unless the issue is properly resolved.

The basement flat: Unfortunately, our stay here was not completely satisfactory. In its defence the property is in a very central area with a Bus stop to town not even a minute away and the property owner did answer all out questions in a timely manner but we just had a few major issues that brought the rating down. The property was a bit rough round the edges generally and wasnt particularly the cleanest. The living room carpet was stained and it and the sofas had a smell to them, our bathroom had mold all around the roof and on some of the tiling and the windows all over the property where thick with dirt on the outside and the inside. If you stay here, dont expect to get much use from your devices as the WiFi is non existant and the signal is no better. It's clear as this set of flats are all owned together the WiFi comes from upstairs and thats not acceptable without at least a router downstairs. A better light in the front room would also be appreciated as it struggles to effectively light the whole room or much of it very well. The kitchen was a positive however and seems to have had recent attention so there is little at fault there minus some not so clean appliances. Overall, it appears we pulled the short straw and ended up with the forgotten flat of the bunch. It has the potential to be lovely if just payed a bit more attention, but for now currently it needs a lot of love, Cheers.
