Great few days at a lovely quiet campsite. Clean well maintained facilities and pitches, easy to walk to the bus stop and hop on to York in 15 mins. Not much in the way of walking trails from the campsite as it is quite residential, however you would never know and this takes nothing away from it at all as it is a lovely quiet place to relax. Great facilities and location for York Would happily return

Ideal for sightseeing in York 10-15mins drive. Very friendly host family with clean surroundings and excellent toilet block and level pitches. Very dog friendly with an accessible dog run, training area. Very little traffic noise. Limited pitches making it more personal than a large scale camping site.

It's a lovely little site a short drive away from the centre of York and a 5 minute walk to a lovely play area for the children. The facilities were basically brand new, they looked untouched with how clean everything was kept. The owners were very friendly, the two beautiful dogs they have were even more friendly. Even when we had a little bit of trouble with our Camper's electrics on the first night (Our AC Unit), Darren was able to point me in the right direction with no trouble at all which saved our trip. We look forward to returning with more family next time.

A great new site set up. A brand new toliet and shower block was only about 5 weeks old when we stayed. Spotlessly clean and quiet site. Perfectly level hard pitches with picnic benches for each. Was only £11 to get a taxi into York too. 10-15 minute walk into Acomb for local shops, pubs and a big Morrisons. This will look even better once the newly planted foilage takes shape. Highly recommend 👌
