Logiemar Cottage

Logiemar Cottage sits on a quiet lane within walking distance of Ballater's shops and restaurants, surrounded by Cairngorms scenery. The whole property is yours alone, with two bedrooms (one kingsize, one three-quarter double) sleeping four, a bathroom, and an open-plan living space on the ground floor. There is a wood-fired hot tub for four in the enclosed rear garden, which guests can use after days spent hiking or exploring the area.

The cottage is heated by biomass underfloor heating and has a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with a dishwasher, electric oven and hob, microwave, coffee machine and washing machine. Bed linen, towels, electricity, heating fuel and WiFi are all included. One well-behaved pet stays free of charge.

The area has strong royal connections—Ballater is the nearest village to Balmoral—and the River Dee runs nearby, known for salmon fishing. Whisky distilleries and outdoor pursuits are within reach. Smoking is not permitted inside.
