Really lovely one night stay. A lovely decorated room with character and was immaculate. Very very comfy large bed. Italian restaurant downstairs was really lovely although very quiet. Food was delicious - had duck and Ox cheek as main both were faultless. Only crisis was that the three cheapest wine weren't in stock so had to up spend and meal was a little on expensive side. Nice wine and food for a treat though. Had to check out by 10 which wouldn't normally be a problem but stayed in pub nearby till last orders chatting to locals.🤣😋

For the price there is better alternatives, payed 98£, for that we had an cold and quite dirty room with amenities that just felt cheap and worn out.

Room quality very low. Walls in need of repair. No drawers or shelves. Bed quality poor and pillows thin. Sachets of shampoo and conditioner. No refrigerator. Charged hotel price for a room of much lower quality. Rooms badly in need of refurbishment. Towels old and thin.

Just stopped in for a glass of wine but ended up eating there too. Lovely staff, couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. Wide range of wines on offer as well as pizza and other Italian dishes. Would recommend
