Tanar View suits couples, small families, or friends wanting their own space in Aberdeenshire's countryside. The cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms—a double and a bunk room—with one bathroom. One dog is welcome to join you. The whole property is yours alone, with private parking for two cars and an EV charger available if needed.
The open-plan living area combines kitchen and sitting room, with a woodburner, smart TV, and French doors opening onto decked areas at two levels. The upper deck is good for outdoor meals; the lower one holds a four-person hot tub with views over the fields. A shower room, heated towel rail, and access to a utility room with freezer and washing machine complete the layout. Essentials like electricity, heating, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are all included, along with wood for the burner. A welcome pack awaits on arrival.
Aboyne sits within reach of the Cairngorms, with Glen Tanar Estate nearby for walking, cycling and riding, while the Dee offers fishing and the Lecht has skiing. The village itself has shops and restaurants; summer brings Highland Games to the area. The property is no-smoking throughout.

If you are looking for a holiday rental: Choose Tanar View!! We stayed for one week and everything was simply perfect. We had the most welcoming hosts and Royal Deeside is soooooo beautiful 🤩!!! We would like to return someday.

We just started our holidays today in that beautiful place! Very clean and tidy, clean decking, and car space plus EV charger (for green people.;) You can see Scottish cows at the front of hot tub ,at field! Greeting pack is so amazing! Bread, dog treat, vine, and scones! Oh is so nice to came here!

This place was amazing. A welcoming basket full of goodies on arrival such as bottle of wine, craft beer, whiskey, eggs, milk, butter, scones, jam. It was very clean and kitted out to a high standard. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you required to cook, I could not think of one thing that was missing. Best of all was the wonderful hot tub after a day hikiing in the Cairngorms which were a short drive away. Aboyne 2.5 miles a way is a lovely little village with plenty of shops to purchase food and a few decent eating places. We loved sitting in the hot tub watching the 2 highland cows called Honey and Manuka in the field next to us. They came right up to the fence. The views were also great from the hot tub and the terrace. The host Liz was very friendly and knowledgeable with local walks. They used eco friendly products such as refill washing up liquid. The shower was nice and hot. I would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay in Tanar View everything was perfect. The host went above and beyond with the extra touches in the welcome pack. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment. All rooms clean, fab hot tub and amazing views. Thank you.
