About Lomond Park Hotel
Lomond Park Hotel is a modest, adults-only property with just 17 rooms, set on Balloch Road in Alexandria within easy reach of Loch Lomond. It's a straightforward base for exploring the surrounding area rather than a grand establishment, with an on-site restaurant and bar, breakfast, free WiFi, and en-suite bathrooms in every room. Free on-site parking is provided, and the hotel also hosts weddings and meetings for those needing function space.
Staff are consistently described as polite and helpful, which counts for a lot, though some rooms have been found to be poorly kept and lacking in basic amenities, so it's worth setting expectations accordingly. Drinks can be brought to your room and there's entertainment nearby for evenings out.
The location suits walkers, cyclists, and anglers, with fishing, golf, and watersports all within reach, plus pubs and restaurants nearby for those who'd rather eat out. It's a practical choice for a Loch Lomond visit rather than a destination in itself.

Stay was okay !, the rooms are okay. If you are staying for a night, then this is a good place to stay. The staff is very polite and helpful and very welcoming. Staff named Lamb was very kind and very helpful throughout our stay. Although my stay was on a sat night and theres a bar downstairs which is very loud and can be up until 1am. Then when the crowd leaves from here and the opposite place, it could be noisy. This place is very close to Balloch train station and close to some attractions closeby. Rooms were clean and the shared bathroom and toilets were clean too.

I'm giving the three stars because it used to be really, really popular and busy during the summer with its beer garden full of people enjoying the weather. It changed owners and I don't know whether locals have decided not to support them but they kept the same staff and as far as I'm aware the only thing they done was close the nightclub the back room and renovate the cocktail lounge. I haven't actually been in since they closed the nightclub. But I would like to see this place busy again. If anybody knows why they're not doing so well these days, please comment and I will keep an eye out for it

Absolutely the worst room I've stayed in. I booked it last minute (literally) I wasn't expecting to need a room but I had been delayed during the day so needed a room. Reviews on Google were fine, it was late and there weren't many hotel rooms available on my route at that time of the evening. so booked it. It was cheap but my options were limited. When I arrived the barman who was also attending the desk asked for a £60 deposit in case of breakages. Alarm bells started ringing. It was late. He said the room allocated didn't have a tv so swapped my room. To one with a tv. More Alarm bells. Anyway went to my room, no one suite, yes there's a tv but no will socket to plug it into thick dust on the open wardrobe shelves. A sink in the room and a kettle on the floor. Absolutely no way would I boil that kettle for a cuppa (you know what it's been used for). The ceiling looks like it's about to collapse. The carpet is so stained that it would have lot's of tales to tell. If I hadn't already paid I would have slept in the back of my van. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Going back to the £60 deposit in case of damages, yeah I don't think you could possibly cause £60worth. Not good Not good at all

Terrible service, I phoned looking to speak to someone regarding the £60 pending charges on my credit card that not yet been received to my account. The Indian worker disconnected my phone call, and when I tried phoning back wouldn’t answer the call. Disgusting. Treatment from a hotel. It’s shouldn’t be a hotel, it’s more a hostel. Poor service and poor service. I have received Dis dispute against the company….
