We ordered "The Mighty Plough" Sharing Platter and it was delicious! The selection of meats was cooked to perfection, full of flavour, and paired with delicious sides like mac and cheese, slaw, beans, corn on the cob, and red cabbage. The portions were generous—we were both completely full and still had enough left over to take home in a doggy bag. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and definitely worth the money. We'll definitely be back and would highly recommend the sharing platter to anyone looking for a fantastic smokehouse feast! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I'm travelling with my American wife and in-laws. We visited The Plough for one of their Smoke House nights. My in laws are big smoke house fans so I was a little nervous. They were blown away. My wife commented, she'd just eaten her first jalapeno popper. I can't believe The Plough isn't a full-time Smoke House! The quality of the ingredients, preparation and presentation were all off the charts. Best meal of our holiday by far 😋😋 Draft Guinness was also amazing!! The servers were super friendly. They are super dog friendly and they put Teddy out dog on the wall 😁😁 My only complaint is the Mojito was disgusting. We all tried some and agreed cough medicine tastes better. Come guys, Mojito do not have green goo in them. Apart from that 5 stars all the way!!!!

We had a meal at The Plough. Dining area was relaxing. A very nice ambience and feel to the place. Food was excellent. My Husband was very impressed with the Cheese board. Our server was Daniel, very attentive and welcoming...A Great asset to the Restuarant.

First time staying in Alnwick. Chose The Plough for its location and it has been perfect for exploring the local area. Hotel rooms are beautifully decorated, beds are comfy and service and staff have been wonderful, nothing has been to much. Fresh flowers in the rooms and top up baskets left outside our room were a lovely touch. Booked a table for the Friday smokehouse night, Dan our server talked us through the menu and we settled on the sharing platter, he was definitely right, we loved every bite. Unfortunately we live 300 miles away or we would be back every weekend. Will definitely recommend to friends and family to visit. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so memorable ❤️
