Hillcroft

Alnwick's cobbled streets and period architecture form the backdrop to Hillcroft, a two-bedroom cottage sleeping four in the heart of the market town. The property sits a few minutes' walk from Alnwick Castle and its associated gardens, with the Northumberland coastline and countryside accessible by car. An enclosed garden with seating provides outdoor space.

Inside, the ground floor holds a living room with a smart TV and electric woodburner, plus a dining room and kitchen equipped for self-catering—oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine included. Upstairs are two bedrooms (one double, one with two singles) and a family bathroom with bath and shower. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are covered. The whole property is yours alone, and one pet can stay free.

Alnmouth, a coastal village four miles east, has a sandy beach and painted houses along the estuary. Rothbury and the Simonside Hills lie to the west. Smoking is not permitted indoors.
