Excellent location! Such a great place for exploring the village. We had no problems with the doors, check in and check out were easy. We had the family suite and slept three adults nicely. The room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was newly remodeled. Quality of beds and room were expected for the price and suited our needs fine. As other reviews have said, visiting in the summer means you have to sleep with the window open, and the bar downstairs is VERY loud, so if you’re early to bed people or have small children I would suggest looking elsewhere during the hot months.

Ideal for what we wanted. Comfy clean bedrooms and centrally located. Would definitely come back. Car park was a bit of a walk but it was free so can't complain. The rooms at the front were noisy due to the late night revellers but that's nothing to do with the accommodation. Thank you.

The receptionist was so kind helping with the location and it was very quit. The location it’s just in the centre of the Ambleside - easy to commute as the bus stop is few yards away and many restaurants and shops nearby. Fish and chips next to the Ambleside central and would recommend Indian restaurant Ishaas few yards away.

Situated in the center of Ambleside it’s the perfect location for Village walks, shops and restaurants. Also great for hikers wanting to hike and explore the great outdoor which is right on your doorstep, old or young there is something for you .
