We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this Airbnb. The location was excellent, with everything we needed close by. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described, making it a great place to relax. Second time staying here, but this time it was for my boyfriend’s birthday. Lovely clean room, and they decorated with balloons. Great location and you get a free parking permit to use in the local car parks. Had an issue with booking.com and 1869 charging me twice, however they resolved it quickly and rang me straight away to confirm what had happened and that they had refunded me. I appreciated them phoning and thought it was great customer service. It’s a dog friendly hotel and we would definitely stay again if we are in the Lake District.

A clean, cosy, and comfortable place to stay in a very convenient location, with nearby parking and a permit provided that can also be used at other car parks. Within walking distance of many cafés, restaurants, shops, and Bridge House. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

We have stayed here before and it was lovely so we thought we’d book the superior room. Very nice view on Ambleside town however the toilet is separate to the room which means you have to go into the main corridor if you wish to use the bathroom which was a little inconvenient however it does state this when booking. Room only had single glazed windows so was a little cold on the morning and quite noisy. I would definitely recommend a stay here but won’t recommend the superior room unless you really require the extra space. The normal rooms are very lovely and worth the cost. You also get a parking pass which is a really great perk as parking in Ambleside can be abit of a nightmare, you go in and your key and pass is waiting for you so no need to speak to anyone, great for introverts. Location is fantastic right in the centre of Ambleside and opposite a nice pub. Definitely would recommend. ⭐️
