We had a wonderful stay at Diamond Lodge in Ambleside this July. The lodge was comfortable, well-kept, and perfectly located for exploring the Lake District. What really set Diamond Lodge apart was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they truly went above and beyond to help make our stay special. In particular, they helped arrange and order roses for my proposal, which made the experience even more memorable and stress-free. We’re very grateful for their thoughtfulness and hospitality, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Diamond Lodge to anyone looking for a warm, personal stay in Ambleside.

Brilliant 3 night stay here in February. Hayley was very welcoming and the place is really hotel standard. Stayed in room 5 which was perfect ( thanks for the upgrade). Breakfast was wonderful and the small touches such as fresh milk for the rooms really appreciated. Perfect location for Ambleside and I would definitely book again in the future.

Lovely room with spacious bathroom. Pillows were not the softest. A lot of stairs to room 10. Next stay will be lower floor room. Lovely breakfast but fresh coffee cafeterie would be better. Great location only 5 minutes walk to village centre. Definitely stay again, excellent friendly staff too.

Lovely hotel, great location, amazing friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were nice, modern. Only downside was they were a bit warm and I banged my head on the sloping roof a few times. The lovely staff and amazing breakfast more than made up for it.
