2 Point Steadings
Argyll and Bute
A converted farm building of stone and timber, 2 Point Steadings sits at the northern tip of Isle of Lismore, steps from the ferry pier. The cottage looks across the Lynn of Lorne towards Port Appin, with views from almost every room. Three bedrooms—one double, two with twin singles—and a bathroom serve groups of up to six, or families seeking island quiet without being cut off; the mainland is a short walk away.
Downstairs opens as one space with exposed beams and hardwood floors. The living area has a wood burner and bay window framing the water; the dining section is adjacent; the kitchen beyond has electric cooking, a dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave. Upstairs, bedrooms are simply arranged. The essentials—heating, bedding, towels, wifi—are covered. One dog stays free. Two enclosed gardens, one gravelled courtyard and one lawned, have seating and furniture. Parking for two cars is on site.
This suits families wanting to explore the Highlands from a base on the water, or anyone drawn to somewhere with minimal light pollution and long sight lines to the horizon. The Isle of Lismore coast is accessible for walks; North Argyll lies across the narrow channel. No smoking indoors.
