Point Park sits on the shore of Loch Etive with the River Awe running behind it—a single-storey cottage where you can walk straight onto the beach. Everything happens on one level: three bedrooms (one with an ensuite), two bathrooms, a kitchen with an Aga alongside modern appliances, two living spaces with fires, and a utility room. There is also a gym with adjustable equipment and yoga mats. The beds in all three bedrooms can be configured as doubles or singles as you need them. A large garden with furniture and a barbecue wraps around the property, and there is ample parking on site.
The cottage suits groups of up to six, including families with young children (a travel cot and high chair are available). One dog is welcome. Essentials are covered—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. The nearest services are in Taynuilt, a small community five kilometres away with a train station on the Glasgow to Oban line, a grocery store, post office, butchers, tearoom and restaurant. The setting is genuinely remote; your main neighbours are the seals and otters that inhabit the loch. No smoking inside the property.
