Bonawe House - Edwardian Wing
Argyll and Bute

Loch Etive stretches out beyond the grounds here, with Ben Cruachan rising across the water. Taynuilt village sits within walking distance, offering a shop, café and golf course along with the everyday quiet of rural Argyll. Oban is 12 miles away for a larger choice of restaurants and attractions, but most people come to this corner of the region for the landscape itself—lochs, glens and hills rather than town life.
Bonawe House's Edwardian Wing occupies one side of this period property, set among mature beech trees on grounds shared with other holiday lets. Inside, everything is on a single level: a sitting room with an oak-panelled feature, dining area and large windows framing the loch view; a kitchen with a range cooker and dishwasher; two bedrooms (one with a kingsize bed plus pull-out single and sofa bed, the other with two singles); and a bathroom with a bath, shower and separate toilet. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are included. There's private parking for two cars and an electric charging point. The grounds have a sitting-out area; an unfenced loch lies within them, which matters if you're bringing young children.
