Bonawe House - Etive View

Bonawe House dates to the 1700s, and Etive View occupies the former nursery on its second floor. Two flights of steep, narrow stairs lead to this spacious apartment, which sits between Loch Etive and Ben Cruachan near the village of Taynuilt. The main living space combines a sitting room and dining area with views across the gardens toward the loch; the kitchen is fully fitted for cooking and also overlooks the grounds. Three bedrooms sleep six: the first has a zip-and-link super king (divisible into two singles), while the other two each contain two single beds. Two bathrooms serve the apartment—one with a bath and shower, the other a shower cubicle.

Essentials including electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered. The apartment comes with parking for two cars and an electric vehicle charging point. Guests share woodland grounds with other properties on the estate. Taynuilt village, a 15-minute walk away, has a pub, small shops and a golf course. The location works well for exploring Argyll's countryside and lochs; Oban is about 12 miles south. Smoking is not permitted inside.
