Hydrangea Cottage is a single-storey detached house within the grounds of 18th-century Bonawe House, near Taynuilt in Argyll and Bute. The cottage overlooks Loch Etive and sits surrounded by mature beech trees; an unfenced loch occupies part of the grounds, shared with other properties on-site. Parking for two cars is available, and there is an electric car charging point.
Everything is on the ground floor. The open-plan living space combines a farmhouse-style kitchen with a dining and sitting area, where you'll find a 32-inch TV and DVD player. Three bedrooms sleep five: a kingsize, a bunk bed room, and a single. There is one bathroom with a bath and shower. The kitchen is equipped for cooking from scratch, with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. A small sitting-out area opens onto the grounds. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; a travel cot and highchair are available on request, and laundry can be arranged for a fee. The property is entirely yours for the duration of your stay, and one dog is welcome. No smoking inside.
Taynuilt village is a 15-minute walk away, with a pub, shops and a golf course. Oban is 12 miles distant. The cottage works well for families or groups of friends exploring the West Highlands.
