Haagwood Cottage

Haagwood Cottage is a detached property sleeping four, set in open countryside near the village of Kilberry with views towards the islands. The whole cottage is yours alone. Everything is on the ground floor: two bedrooms (each with a zip-and-link bed that can be split into singles on request), a bathroom with bath and shower, a sitting room with an open fire and television, and a dining kitchen. The essentials—electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi—are included, along with the initial fuel for the fire. The kitchen is fully fitted for self-catering, with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, and a washer-dryer. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.

Outside, there is an enclosed garden with lawn and seating areas, parking for two cars, and a bike store. One dog is welcome provided it stays on a lead (the area has sheep). The cottage is a short drive from a beach and within reach of several villages: Kilberry itself has the Kilberry Inn nearby, while Tarbert has shops, restaurants and a nine-hole course. Camping and water sports enthusiasts can explore the Kintyre peninsula, famous distilleries lie further south in Campbeltown, and ferries to Islay, Jura and Gigha depart from local ports. No smoking inside.
