Leraigs Glen Farm Pods - Islay Pod

Leraigs Glen Farm Pods sits on working farmland in Argyll and Bute, where the landscape rolls toward the coast. The Islay Pod is a single bedroom, designed for three people, and everything you need is on one floor. A double bed anchors the bedroom, while the living space holds a sofa bed, a kitchen with microwave and air fryer, and a shower room. Heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all covered, along with wifi; there is also a travel cot if needed.

The patio is where the pod comes into its own. A three-person hot tub overlooks the glen, garden furniture sits ready, and a firepit and barbecue are there if you want them. The farm itself has animals—goats, a Shetland pony and free-roaming chickens—that guests can interact with during their stay. Parking takes two cars. No smoking is permitted.

Oban, a 10-minute drive away, offers ferries to the islands and access to distilleries. The Jacobite railway, Glencoe, and Ben Cruachan are all within reach for those who want to venture out. The pod sits on a rough track and draws water from a spring.
