Old Brewery Cottage sits on a rocky outcrop within sight of the Atlantic, a single-storey property that opens directly onto ground level. The space combines living, dining and kitchen areas in one open plan, with a double bedroom and ensuite shower room. Everything you need for self-catering is here—electric cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine—along with Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels included. An enclosed patio with garden furniture and BBQ takes advantage of the coastal setting, though note there is a low wall on the patio edge with a drop to the sea.

Oban is 16 miles away; Seil Island, connected to the mainland by a distinctive bridge, lies closer. A pier nearby runs seafaris with a marine biologist, and the village has a pub serving food and local beer. The area suits walkers, with glorious scenery to explore, and those interested in wildlife. One pet is welcome. The cottage sleeps two and does not accommodate children. Parking is on road; check-in is after 16:00 and checkout before 10:00. No smoking inside.

We spent a week at the Old Brewery Cottage over Easter and it was idyllic. Perfectly situated next to the Oyster Bar which serves fantastic food and drinks. The cottage was ideal and there’s so many local places to visit, with Oban a stone’s throw away. The views are to die for and wildlife in abundance. The locals are lovely and we were made to feel so welcome…

Last week, we had the pleasure of staying at the Old Brewery Cottage. The location and views are out of this world. Trips over to Easdale is a must. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the accommodation wasn't up to a good standard. My wife was ill because of the amount of dog hair in the bedroom and livingroom/kitchen. Even dog hair was found in the bed. We have a dog, but she doesn't cast for that very reason. The bathroom needs a good clean or updating as there was mould clearly visible around the window. It's a shame as the area is amazing.

Have just come home from spending a week in Old Brewery Cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was lovely and clean, very warm and had everything we needed. We loved the balcony and were lucky enough with the weather to sit there in the mornings for breakfast and enjoy the evenings. Definitely hope to return.

SACK THE CLEANER !!!..The cottage had a fantastic view. The area is stunning but the cottage was very disappointing. On arrival the place smelt terrible. Straight away the amount of cobwebs and general dust was unaceptable. The hob extractor was full of dust, the bulbs in the hood were thick of grease, mirrors thick of dust. The place looked like it hadn't been cleaned. The microwave was very dirty. Sticky to touch. The crockery needed washed before it could be used.... We were booked in for a week but left after two days. A wasted £365..... !!! Just couldn't stay any longer...
