Seaview Cottage is a semi-detached stone cottage perched on the shoreline of the Isle of Bute, in Argyll and Bute. The building sits within easy reach of the slate beach—about 50 metres from the garden—where the Firth of Lorne stretches out before you. This is fundamentally a waterside property, and the location is its defining feature.
Inside, the cottage is laid out across two floors. Downstairs there is a living and dining room with a multi-fuel burner and a 40-inch television, plus a kitchen equipped for proper cooking: electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer. The bathroom has a bath with shower over and a heated towel rail. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a kingsize bed, the other with two singles—sleeping four people altogether. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. The cottage also has a small enclosed garden with seating, and parking for two cars on site.
The Isle of Bute lends itself to walking, fishing and exploring the local villages. One dog stays free. The property does not allow smoking.

We recently stayed at Seaview Cottage for two nights and genuinely couldn’t recommend it more highly. Although it’s attached to a larger property, it feels completely private, with its own entrance and dedicated parking, making it a wonderfully relaxing and secluded place. The cottage itself is beautifully presented, with thoughtful décor and everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable—easily one of the best we’ve experienced away from home. The views are absolutely stunning and really make the stay feel special. Outside, there’s a private hot tub, a barbecue area, and a charming little fire pit with seating, which made for a lovely, relaxing evening. In all honesty, photos don’t do this place justice—it’s even better in person. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

This is a charming little bolthole with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The hot tub was a great place to chill out in after being out and about, Allison even left a thoughtful gift for my mum who was celebrating her birthday. We were transfixed by the stunning views from the easy chairs. Hope to return one day!

Wow ! what a lovely place to relax including a great hot tub. Great location overlooking the Firth of Clyde. The cottage although part of a very big property has its own private entrance which you can drive right upto around the rear of the main house. The cottage is very spacious with plenty of seating both inside and outside. The cottage has a small patio just outside the kitchen door and then a lovely relaxing hot tub with access from both the kitchen or bedroom, plus a front patio / garden area with great views overlooking the Firth of Clyde. Relaxing in the hot tub in the evening, looking up at the stars was amazing. A real stress free experience. The owners Alison and Andrew made us very welcome. Although the island is very small, it was lovely to drive around the quite little country roads. There is a bus service if you don't have a car which goes all over the island. There is only one small supermarket (a Co-op) on the island so make sure you bring plenty of supplies.
