Guston Court

Guston Court is a substantial period manor that works well for larger gatherings—family reunions, celebrations, groups of friends. Six bedrooms across three floors sleep 14 in total: five have kingsize beds, one has twin singles, and one offers both a kingsize and a double. Four bathrooms and a separate toilet mean people aren't queueing in the mornings. The ground floor holds two reception rooms with working open fires, a spacious kitchen with an Aga for proper cooking, and a formal dining room. There's also a second sitting room if you need quiet space away from the main group.

Outside, the private grounds include a patio area and barbecue for meals in good weather, plus two hot tubs—one wood-fired, one conventional, each holding six people—set within the gardens. Parking for eight cars is available on the property. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; the multi-fuel burners and Aga run on fuel that's supplied. The house is non-smoking. One well-behaved dog is welcome at no extra cost. Set among open Kent countryside with views across marshland, it's far enough from the road to feel properly remote, yet Dover itself is nearby.
