Santon Farm Cottages - Oast View

Oast View comes fully equipped for a week away without shopping lists or worries. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are all covered. The kitchen has everything from a dishwasher and washing machine to a coffee maker—you can cook a proper meal or keep things simple. Underfloor heating throughout and an air source heat pump mean the place stays comfortable whatever the season. There's a welcome pack when you arrive, and if you're bringing young children, a travel cot and highchair are available on request.

The layout splits across two floors. Ground level holds two bedrooms—a double and a pair of singles—plus a bathroom with both bath and shower. Upstairs, the main bedroom is a kingsize with its own ensuite, and the heart of the space is a large open-plan living area that combines sitting room, dining space and kitchen in the old oast building. An extension added in 2023 gives the property considerable size for six people. You get private parking for three cars, including an electric charging point, and a garden with outdoor furniture.

The cottage sits on a working farm among orchards and farmland, roughly equidistant between Canterbury—cathedral, historic walls, cobbled streets—and the Kent coast. Ramsgate, Broadstairs and Margate are within reach for beaches; inland there's Sandwich, Deal, Dover and Folkestone with golf, water parks and other attractions nearby. No smoking inside. One pet is welcome.
