Quarter Cottage
Ashford
Quarter Cottage sits among fields on a small estate in the heart of West Kent, where footpaths, ponds and streams thread through rolling farmland. The village of Tenterden lies nearby, known for its independent shops and the Kent and Sussex Railway steam train service to Bodiam. Sissinghurst Castle gardens are within easy reach by car, and Ashford—10 miles away—offers access to the high-speed rail network to London, Paris and beyond.
The cottage is a compact, one-storey open-plan space with a kitchen and dining area downstairs (electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge) leading to a sitting area with armchairs and TV. Upstairs, a mezzanine bedroom holds a zip-and-link king bed that can be configured as two singles, with an en-suite bathroom. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and electricity are included. A bistro table overlooks a small lake from the enclosed garden; there is parking for one car on site.
The property is non-smoking. Only babies in arms are welcome as guests; hen and stag parties are not permitted.
