Hollywood Bowl Taunton – Family visit We stopped by Hollywood Bowl Taunton after the cinema for a bit of fun with the kids and it delivered exactly what we wanted. It is one of those places where you can easily lose track of time and everyone finds something they enjoy. Arcade and games The big draw for us is always the 2p machines. The kids absolutely love them and you can get quite a bit of playtime out of a couple of pounds depending on how you approach it. It is simple, addictive fun and always a highlight of the visit. Beyond that, there is a really good mix of arcade games. Things like Pac-Man, air hockey, basketball, water games, boxing machines, and plenty more. There are lots of prize machines as well, where you trade in tickets for rewards. It is all part of the experience. The kids love it, even if most of the prizes end up being small novelty toys. Bowling experience The ten-pin bowling itself is always good. The lanes are well set up and there are often special offers available depending on the time of day. There is also a VIP bowling area where you can book lanes with food and drinks brought directly to you, which is a nice option for groups or parties. Facilities and atmosphere The venue is fully accessible and easy to get around, including for wheelchair users. Parking is straightforward and convenient, which makes a big difference when visiting with children. There is a diner on site along with a good selection of drinks, and you can also find pool tables and other entertainment options around the venue. It has a lively, energetic feel without being overwhelming, and there is always something going on. Overall This is a great place for a family outing, a casual visit, or something to do after the cinema like we did. The 2p machines are always a hit with our kids, but there is plenty here for all ages. The only thing to be aware of is how easy it is to spend money if you are not keeping an eye on it. Time and coins can disappear quickly. That said, if you go in with a rough budget, it is a really fun experience. Overall, a reliable and enjoyable venue in Taunton where everyone can have a good time.

If you’re looking for a quick and ‘plan free’ staff party.. look no further. we came here for a staff night out, paid for the VIP lanes, with food & one drink included in the price. Our package included a trophy to be given to the winner at the end, we were literally obsessed, it was so cute !! All the staff were fantastic, super helpful & very friendly. Food came out pretty quick considering there were 14 of us. thank you so much folks

First time visiting and it was awesome. Lots of amusements, loads of lanes and even a VIP bowling area, loaded fries were pretty tasty too. Made up for losing at bowling. But did win two keyring on the amusements!

Plenty of parking for both able and disabled vehicles. I did find the entrance doors very stiff and heavy to open. Inside they have a disabled toilet with adequate room for maneuvering around.
