Utter Waffle Balham

Absolutely fantastic brunch at Utter Waffle Balham! 🧇☕🐾 My husband and I visited with our pooch and had such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding. We ordered the Buffalo Waffalo, James Jules, and Giant Peach veggie waffles, along with hash browns, coffee, and a dirty chai. Every single dish was packed with flavour and beautifully presented. The dirty chai was especially excellent and paired perfectly with brunch. A huge shout-out to the service staff, who were incredibly warm, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. They genuinely made us feel at home and went above and beyond to ensure both we and our dog had a great experience. Speaking of which, Utter Waffle is wonderfully dog-friendly. Our furry companion was treated like a VIP with a puppuccino and some doggy bacon. Unfortunately, we couldn't get a photo of the bacon because it disappeared in record time, our pooch inhaled it before we had the chance! 😂 It's rare to find a place that gets both the food and the atmosphere so right. Delicious food, fantastic coffee, genuinely lovely staff, and a warm welcome for dogs, we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Utter waffle is an incredible discovery for us gluten free people. The menu is delicious and they blend sweet an savoury in very creative ways. My favourite is definitely the "James, Jules&the Giant Peach" having caramelised peaches, vanilla cream cheese frosting and bacon that give that incredible twist like I've never tasted before. ABSOLUTELY A 10/10!!! This location is quieter, I recommend going during weekdays as less crowded. In the picture you can also see "Dippy Eggs" dish my friend got. 🥰 Absolutely delicious too!!

We had brunch at the Balham Utter Waffle and it was absolutely incredible - the best brunch we’ve had in London, maybe anywhere. Such friendly staff who really make you feel welcome. We sat outside and a little boy walking past dropped his Lego, which went everywhere. The lady who was serving us (I don’t know her name, sorry!) came out with a paper bag and asked if he’d like to put all the bits of Lego in there to make it easier to carry them. He wasn’t even a customer - so sweet 🥰 As well as the warmth of the staff, the coffee was fab, and the food was just fantastic. We had the “Buffalo Waffalo” and the veggie “Wafflin Chicken”, as well as some truffle hash browns - all exceptional. Everything is gluten free and the staff don’t even bring any gluten into the premises, so it’s completely coeliac-friendly. It’s also dog-friendly, and they even have a selection of treats for dogs on the menu. We cannot recommend this place enough. We will be back again, and again, and again…

Such a lovely place! Loved that everything was gluten free. The staff were extremely friendly and chatty and made you feel welcome and relaxed. We had 'The Wafflin' Chicken', 'Truffle Hash Browns' and the 'Chocolate Almond Croiffle'. All of it was absolutely delicious, soft and fluffy waffles with amazing toppings. Will be back for sure!
