What diners say
Love this Pub. I’m a local, but the Latchmere is always a good place to visit. Staff are always friendly, food is always good. From summer burgers, to roast dinners. There are often specials too. Pub garden is also spacious and has heaters in the winter. Really enjoy it here, and would highly highly recommend.

The Latchmere has a cosy, relaxed atmosphere & delicious food! The Sunday roasts come with all of the trimmings including delicious gravy & giant yorkies. The staff are always so friendly & accommodating. They have plenty of screens to watch sports as well as a cosy dining room. I love having a Sunday lunch at The Latchmere.

I had the ceser salad with hot salmon. It was very basic for a ceser salad with a piece of cold cooked smoked salmon. My wife had the lamb shwama with quinoa. The lamb was nice but the quinoa salad and salsa was too heavy on the coriander. I feel it was very overpriced for what we got and the service was not the best and we also waited aboutv40 mins for our food.

I visited for a Sunday roast with friends and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The customer service was poor throughout, with staff coming across as unfriendly and unwelcoming. We waited around 45 minutes for our food to arrive, and when it finally did, one of the dishes was incorrect despite us clearly explaining the order to staff beforehand. Things became even more frustrating when I queried the optional service charge. I was told, in a rather condescending manner, that it was charged because they bring the food to the table. I then asked a bald member of staff with dreadlocks, who was clearing our table, to remove the service charge. He said he would sort it but never returned. When I went to the till before leaving to request the refund from another member of staff, the same employee came over and rudely stated in Spanish that he had already refunded it before walking away. Throughout our visit, the staff appeared to communicate almost exclusively in Spanish, which at times felt unprofessional when dealing with customers. Overall, the food was overshadowed by the poor service, lack of communication, and dismissive attitude from staff. Sadly, I wouldn’t return based on this experience.
