Torridge Lodge is a ground-floor property sleeping 4 in Beaworthy, equipped with everything needed for a self-catering stay. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. The three bedrooms contain a kingsize bed, two single beds, and there is one shower room with a double shower and heated towel rail. A dining area is positioned at the front of the property.
The lodge has its own entrance and parking for two cars on site. You have access to a shared heated indoor swimming pool, open April to September between 10:00 and 18:00, which measures 20m by 10m with depths ranging from 1m to 2m. Front and side gardens include seating, and a rear veranda is private from overlooking. The surrounding grounds are shared with other properties, and contain a large unfenced pond where wildlife including owls, bats and buzzards can be spotted among specimen trees and shrubs.
The location is rural; Beaworthy sits between Sheepwash and Black Torrington, each roughly a mile away. The area suits exploring Dartmoor and the Devon coastline. No smoking inside the property.

I had a wonderful stay at Brook Cottage. The sheets were spotless and fresh, making the room feel instantly welcoming. The facilities were excellent — everything I needed was right at hand and in perfect working order. Most importantly, the host were warm, friendly, and genuinely made me feel at home. I’d happily return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable bed and inviting stay.

What a beautiful setting for our stay! Our lodge was perfect, had everything we needed and a far tasteful interior than any other lodge I’ve stayed in… my husband was very pleased to have a nespresso machine! Great touch with the log burner, not that we needed it…. The lodge is set in Immaculately kept grounds in beautiful Devon and with a fabulous pool to boot! Amanda and Anthony were great hosts! Loved it here. Bridge farm…. We will be back!

We recently enjoyed a break staying in Brook Cottage, beautifully furnished and has everything you need , the bed was exceptionally comfortable. It’s set in the most beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The hosts are very welcoming and accommodating. If you love nature and history you have it all here. In a 3 mile radius, 2 very historic villages well worth reading up on, as Black Torrington has a mention in the Domesday Book. Nature reserves a short drive, Bude beach and of course Dartmoor. We loved it and shall be back.
