We had the most wonderful experience at Lahpet Larder in Bermondsey today. The restaurant itself is so cute, warm, intimate, and with such a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, with great customer service that made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely fabulous, beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. The standout for me was the ginger salad, oh my goodness, what a perfect balance of crunchy, sweet, spicy, and sour! Truly unforgettable. And the house iced tea was so tasty and refreshing! the perfect drink to go with the meal. We loved everything about this place and will definitely be back soon! 💛

Amazing restaurant. The three of us ordered an "Express lunch" menu. As for starters: the ginger salad was excellent, so were the yellow peas. The main dishes were also top-notch. I took a vegetable curry, my partner took noodles and her mother had braised beef. All delicious! If you're not used to eating hot food, don't hesitate to ask if some dishes are less spicy than others. I liked the curry but it would have been too strong for my partner!

Tasty food, stylish decor, but small portions Visited Lahpet Larder recently and the flavours were impressive. The salmon ceviche was a highlight—lightly spiced with chilli and paired with green mango and papaya, super refreshing. Also loved the Belly and Bone dish, rich and full of flavour. The decor is modern and welcoming, and the staff were attentive and friendly throughout. Only downside: portion sizes are quite small, especially considering the price. Not the best value for money, but worth a visit if you're after bold flavours and a nice atmosphere.
