I had such a lovely experience at this French restaurant and I just had to share it. The food was absolutely amazing .You can really tell there’s care and quality behind the menu. But what made the experience stand out even more was the service, especially from Melwins . He was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. He took the time to explain the menu in detail, made great recommendations, and genuinely helped us choose the perfect dishes, service like this makes all the difference. Thank you, Melwins for such a memorable experience , I’ll definitely be coming back!

Recommended by a friend who has visited many times, and it did not disappoint. We had two starters that were light yet full of flavour. The shared main course was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, with perfectly cooked fish and flavourful fillings. The sauce was also the highlight. We ordered two desserts — one sharing dessert that we loved, and the Galette des Rois, which is only available in early January and was a real highlight. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the service was attentive and efficient throughout, even when the restaurant became busy. Despite the pouring rain, the restaurant was almost full, so booking ahead is definitely recommended. Overall, we had a fantastic birthday evening with excellent food made from quality ingredients and outstanding service. Highly recommended.

Delicious. We're casse-croûte regulars but it was fully booked, they suggested pique-nique and it did not disappoint. The sauce on the chou farci was perfection, the service was great, the wine excellent. I need to go back in a group so we can try more things (the main are big I think ideal to share between 4).

I recently visited Pique-Nique in London with a large group, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and seamless, even with a bigger party. The atmosphere is truly special: classy, intimate, and tucked away at the back of a small park, which makes it feel like a hidden gem. It’s the kind of place that feels both unique and memorable. For food, I had the sea bass Wellington, which was cooked perfectly—beautifully balanced and full of flavor. To finish, the tarte Tatin was absolutely fantastic and the perfect end to the meal. Highly recommend for both the quality of food and the overall experience. I’ll definitely be back!

Some reviews mention the main courses can be too large for two.
