Large touring park in the heart of the village after a multi-million pound rebuild

About Riverside Touring and Holiday Home Park

Riverside Touring and Holiday Home Park sits right in the heart of Betws-y-Coed, making it easily the most accessible camping option in the village. Following a major multi-million pound redevelopment by Morris Leisure, the site now offers around sixty hardstanding and super pitches, most with electric hook-up and many with water connections—clearly aimed at caravans and motorhomes rather than those after a rustic field experience. A heated amenity block, laundry, on-site shop, and wifi across the park complete the practical package, ideal for anyone touring North Wales for a week or more.

The real advantage here is location: shops, pubs, the station, and the river rocks at Pont-y-Pair are all within easy walking distance, which suits families and car-free visitors far better than the quieter farm sites dotted further out. Dogs are welcome, and while you won't find seclusion at this sizeable park, you will find convenience and comprehensively modern facilities. For tourers prioritising access to village amenities over peace and quiet, this is comfortably the most practical choice in the immediate area.

This was the second time we had stayed on a Morris Leisure site and it was every bit as good as the one in Shrewsbury. The toilet and shower block was immaculately clean, warm and inviting. The site's location is stunning and it is only a short walk into the heart of Betws y Coed. The site is so peaceful and relaxing and friendly staff make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. We are planning to return again very soon and are thinking of staying at the Ludlow site next. Highly recommend.

Just spent four nights at this Site all I can say is fabulous 😁 It’s in the heart of the Village, which has got plenty of pubs, places to eat and cafés. You can walk directly from the Site via the Dog walk and it brings you out in the middle of the Village. This is about a mile. Whilst we were there, it was extremely hot, but the good thing was that the dog walk is pretty much in the shade and on grass and there are plenty of places along the riverbank where the Dog can easily have access to the water to cool down. We will definitely be returning to this site 😁😁

Great campsite in an amazing location. Facilities are really good, clean and warm. Staff are friendly and helpful. betws y coed is a fantastic village with access to great walks and access to trains is a massive bonus if you want to park up and not have to drive for a few days. All in all, loved our stay in the campervan, me, the wife and out two dogs had a great stay, very relaxing. And if you like golf, that's on your doorstep also 👍

Excellent site for many reasons. Quality facilities on site with good size level pitches. Nice river walks two minutes away. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants close by but also quiet at night.
