About The Courthouse
Each of the five rooms at The Courthouse has its own character, a legacy of the building's past life as a working courthouse, with rustic touches throughout and a few rooms looking straight out over the river. En-suite bathrooms, drinks in the room and free WiFi are standard, and there's a sunroom for relaxing away from the bedrooms.
Breakfast is included, with packed lunches available for guests heading out for the day, and the garden, picnic area and outdoor seating give plenty of space to sit outside. Free on-site parking and 24 hour reception make arriving and leaving straightforward, and luggage storage is on hand for early check-ins or late departures.
The location in Betws-y-Coed puts Snowdonia and Gwydir Forest Park within easy reach, along with Swallow Falls nearby. Walking, fishing, golf and watersports are all available in the surrounding area, and pubs, restaurants and other entertainment are close by for evenings out.

What guests say
We had an absolutely fantastic weekend stay at The Courthouse. The room was charming as can be and the breakfast was outstanding. The location is also great as it is just off the main street but still only a couple of minutes' walk to all the main shops. The host was also absolutely fantastic and gave us great recommendations for walks and hikes we could do. Honestly I could not have asked for a better experience and I am looking forward to coming back one day!

Booked a B&B to be close to the Town. Well you’re as close as you can be without being on the High Street. Just set back over the railway. Every local amenity is within a few minutes walk. Cafes, bistros, pubs, restaurants (Go Royal Oak)! Richard was the perfect host. Tanya set up our room to celebrate my husbands birthday and it really did make us feel special. Chocolates, Prosecco, cake, balloons and a banner too. The rooms were spotless and the bed was so comfortable. My Garmin watch said that was the most restful sleep I’d had in weeks. 😜. Took me a while to get to grips with the shower but got there in the end. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. 🤤. Would absolutely recommend 100%. We’ll be back in the summer!!

A lovely B&B, just off the busy main road. A lovely riverside garden in sit, and ample carparking. We received a lovely warm welcome from Richard who explained everything we needed. Our room had a wonderful view of the river and was spacious and very comfortable. A good size bathroom was really appreciated. Richard looked after us really well and we were treated to breakfast in the conservatory. We could tell lots of effort had been made to provide a great experience. The coffee was excellent and we both enjoyed our cooked breakfast very much. The B&B is in a very good location for all the attractions of Betws-y-coed but lovely, peaceful and relaxing after a days adventure.

This was a lovely stop for us in Betws-y-coed, at the end of our break. Richard, our host, could not have been more helpful and welcoming. The room was really comfortable and we had a great rest in the huge and comfortable bed. The breakfast was amazing and highly recommended. If you want a relaxing place to stay or a place to base yourself while walking I think you would be hard pushed to find anywhere better.
