What guests say
My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights and loved it! The room was clean and freshly decorated with a good shower. The hosts were very friendly and provided great advice on local places to visit. The cooked breakfast was very generous (basically just put how many of each item on a form and it’s ready in the morning), I’m 6’3” and had to skip lunch every day. The location is pretty and just a short walk from some nice pubs and restaurants. Downstairs rooms are available so it’s ideal if you’re visiting with older family. I would definitely stay again, thank you.

Our stay at Bod Gwynedd was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, Jackie and Gary made us feel genuinely welcome. Jackie, in particular, was incredibly attentive and a real asset to the experience—her knowledge of the local area was invaluable, especially when it came to walking routes and places to eat. Her beautiful artwork displayed throughout the property added a unique and personal touch that made the stay even more special. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and every detail was clearly thought through. The bed was perfectly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep, and the breakfast each morning was absolutely fantastic—fresh, delicious, and the perfect start to the day. A lovely final touch was the homemade Welsh cakes we were given at the end of our stay, which truly summed up the warmth and hospitality we experienced. We had such an enjoyable and relaxing visit and are already looking forward to returning. Highly recommended!

Great stay in a perfect location. The room was spotless with really comfy beds, and the breakfast was lovely each morning. The hosts were super friendly and knowledgeable, and even sorted us an early check-in which we really appreciated. A nice touch to finish was the hot Welsh cakes on our way home. Would definitely recommend!

The biggest compliment I can give Jackie and her B&B is that it felt like I was visiting a family members house and using their spare bedroom for a few days - we felt that relaxed. My partner and I felt comfortable, safe and well looked after during our three day stay. The reviews accurately reflect the quality of the location, quality of the room and the quality of the breakfast. If you're looking to visit Betws-y-coed (which you absolutely should) then you'll be in good hands with Jackie at Bod Gwynedd.
